O'er the mountains and the sea

Tucked cushily within the Santa Monica mountains and removed from the bustling smog-saturated traffic-chocked cosmopolitan cranny called La La Land is Topanga Canyon State Park,a humble wildland-derived hamlet characterized byunbridled grasslands, pristine flora and prolific fauna aplenty, and placid seaside breezes wafting languidly from the Pacific, prime turf through which to embark on a morningtide hike, Melen decrees. The magnitude and intricacy of creationastounded us to speechlessness, to disclose the least.
"For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him." - Colossians 1:16And we've the undeserved privilege to revel in it all - by ascending lofty tree trunks, meandering off-beaten paths, oogling at budding dandelions craning hungrily toward the sun's nourishing brilliance,
and feeling rather diminutive in the grand scope of thangs, except that, despite it all, God knows each and every one of us human creatures down to the number of hairs on our heads and cares deeply enough for us to sacrificially accomplish, for our joy in Him, his work on the cross.Which is a centralized truth that appended a sheen of thankfulness'round the blessing of cavorting the day awayin sisterly company.'Twas a Melen-approved undertaking in the City of Angels' wildland oasis
rewarded by our initial incentive: desserty decadence hailed from a much favored sweets shoppe.
Always a pleasure.
