I'm rather keen on the concept of kite mail messengers (stemmed from my
crafting a Play Pouch based on the idea the year prior). If
Harry Potter can employ owl post, then I'm certain we can avail ourselves of kite mail messengers. What lovelier method to send off a birthday package to a dear friend who entertains an affinity for kites?

Crafting packaging is a dandy diversion, as this parcel flits and flutters from the City of Angels

to the Big Apple where the chummy pal currently resides.

I'm enamored by, and so utilize a fusion of manila envelopes, kraft paper, vintage graphics, baker's twine, sewn sheared apple shaped fabric, aged linen, inky stamps, and die-cut tags to fabricate an aesthetically pleasing vintage-inspired package.

Gotta insert a sewn doily card swamped with scribbling, too.

Thanks to this flighty messenger, the birthday parcel shall arrive in the post in a spiffy jiffy.

Happiest of 24th birthdays to you,
Elaine! You are such a blessed friend and I'm so thankful for how the Lord has grown our friendship o'er the years. I've seen much grace in your life since you've embarked on the unparalleled journey of knowing and loving Christ. Your passion for the loved ones in your life and your vision to serve others through speech path is such an encouragement. May you continue to grow in grace and daily fight to discover the surmounting worth of knowing Christ. Cheers to 9+ years of friendship, m'dear. Being on opposite ends of the coast shall not deter us from many more. I love you mucho grande nachos, soul sister!
